The Lower Putah Creek Watershed Portal will help stakeholders and researchers more easily find proposed, ongoing, and past projects and studies that affect the Lower Putah Creek watershed. Through its interactive web application, content providers can enter information into an on-line database that meets federal and state standards for metadata. Metadata allows everyone to more easily find what they are searching for. This information will be organized into subwatershed libraries and into portals, which are subgroups or metadata records organized around a specific subject or location. |
