Abstract/Description: This document describes the location and ecological setting of the Upper Floodplain of the Cosumnes River; identifies project conservation targets; threats and stressors to salmon; desired conservation outcome: A healthy, stable run of salmon on the cosumnes; opportunities, constraints, and stakeholders; conservation strategy; funding and timeline; etc. It discusses the strategic plan completed by The Nature Conservancy in 1992 and it includes a list of works cited.
