Title: Sacramento River Ecological Indicators Pilot Study |

Abstract/Description: This pilot project emphasizes both the search for new useful indicators and the investigation of
ecosystem processes using new approaches. This pilot project also considers indicators at various
temporal and spatial scales and their integration in a long-term monitoring program. The results
presented here build on our existing knowledge of the ecosystem and will be used to determine
the utility and quality of data collected through these innovative methods.
